4.5" Jeep Lift Kit How To Install Do it Yourself – Lock n Load Long Arm from MetalCloak

4.5" Jeep Lift Kit How To Install Do it Yourself – Lock n Load Long Arm from MetalCloak

This is it! The final suspension upgrade to the AutoEdits Jeep Wrangler JKU Rubicon. I went with the Long Arm Lock ‘n’ Load 4.5″ lift from MetalCloak and it is beyond awesome!!!

Here is the link to the kit I installed,

If you want to get a bit of the Lucas tool box buddy or the cool gloves I wear in the video… please go to the AutoEdits Amazon store and support the channel by picking up a few items!

Let me know what you guys think the ideal rear axle upgrade would be for this project.

Thanks so much for watching and being a part of the AutoEdits experiment!

Tylor Snavely says:

Do you happen to know what size is the frame bolt for the lower control arm brackets?

VetGuy2 says:

Would it be possible to move the brackets forward in the front (2-3 in) and rearward in the back (7-8 in) to extend the wheel base as desired, keeping other component positions in mind?
I really like the kit with long arms, as I'm currently doing new floors, torque boxes, and boat sides in my TJ so I'm trying to plan ahead for suspension following up with drivetrain lifting.
The ultimate goal is to keep any lift minimal (below 5 inches).

Jeff B says:

Great video! I’ve watched this video at least 3 or 4 times. You do a great job explaining the installation. I have the same kit still in boxes, waiting for a long weekend to install. How long brake lines did you go with?

John Courtney (Scott) says:

Looks great!! You did a great job

Jason Kus says:

Can you do these arms with the 3.5” spring or does it have to have the 4.5” spring. Also what if I just started with the rear brackets with 3.5” spring? Any advice?

Denis Picciuolo says:

Sigh….when you cut. I cried.

Tony Nguyen says:

Wait yaaaaaa notice how many jack stands he has? Hahaha

Denis Picciuolo says:

How do AutoEdits. Another great vid (which I watched AGAIN). I’ve chatted with you regarding the Game changer 3.5 (which is still on the to get last). However are you still using the MetalCloak steering system you installed? It looks like you upgraded the steering stabilizer to ‘Centerline’…is that a marketed upgrade from the Rocksport shock that came with the metal cloak?

robb Is ridiculous says:

Was the welding instructed or was that personal preference

R Q says:

Wow I didn’t notice how big those jack stands were until you mentioned them.

A1zero 55 says:

Hi Jason, what are the dimensions of the Tom Woods shafts that you are running with the 4.5” lock and load kit? I was curious so that I can order mine before my suspension gets here! Thanks

Nick Patoka says:

You must be independently wealthy

Jose Carrillo says:

Got the same suspencion and noticed the sway bar links at a higher level than normal call metalcloak and they say it's normal can you tell me if you noticed the same and if this is normal..the links are 12.5 in length thanks

kvogelden says:

I’m curious if after doing the lift you think you needed 10ton jackstands or if 6tons would have been tall enough…?

Tyler Spagnoli says:

You’re a G! Clean work man, appreciate this video

Sandra Lutz-Rodriguez says:
