So there is where the oil filter is. I have an old TJ Wrangler with 280,
000 miles and just got a Sahara Unlimited JK Wrangler with 11, 000 mile. It
is ready for its first oil change. I just could not find the oil filter. I
hope my 2012 winds up being as reliable as my trusty 2000. Only time will
tell.

I know im being a pain but that is a trim cover. A valve cover ( this
engine has 2) covers the actual cams and such

The oil filter mentioned in the video is for 2012 and 2013 model years.
Oddly enough, Chrysler changed the oil filter on the 3.6l for the 2014
model year. The new part # is 68191349AA-M. Hope this helps.

Great video. Thank you.

For the oil cap it’s 15/16″ not 5/16″ ! 24mm is recommended.

Oranj Krush says:

Adjustable wrench? WTF! Use a 12mm socket.

Great vid. But one question, did the MOPAR oil filter come with a new
O-Ring? I think thehe O-Ring around the cover should have been changed.
