Huh?
You went from getting the panel off, here’s where I’m going to fix it.
Then, “well there you go”
What did you do?

David Commer says:

never has happen got it in 04 too yay for me

dac1977 says:

THERE IS A YEAR WARRANTY ON THIS PART IF YOU CAN VERIFY PURCHASE DATE..GO
BACK TO YOUR INSTALL SHOP & HAVE THEM SEND IT BACK IN ON WARRANTY…

clipdan says:

I zip tied ours around the upper inner door frame and around the lower
window. I still had to take the panel off. But it helped until my parts
came in to repair. My full repair should be on my youtube channel soon, if
I can take the time during the repair to video it and later upload it.

goochspaintball says:

I have a 2005 that all 4 windows fell. You can replace all 4 window plates
with a METAL replacement for about $100 and it takes about 1.5 hours each
(maybe less if no beer is involved). Just search Amazon or autoandart
dotcom. The dealer is only gonna replace it with OEM shit plastic that will
inevitably fail again. The only specialty tool you’ll need is a hand
riveter, which you can get at Harbor Freight for $6. Everything else is
basic tools.

BRANDY V says:

Just fixed my back window! Thank you so much!!

marcos srb says:

the door panel, I have been told you have insurance but the truth and try a
lot and not separated .. greetings

To fix my 2002 Jeep Liberty permanently I used a cheap metal paint roller
extention. The one that has a plastic attachment on the end for hanging
when not in use. I cut the pole to measurement. Then I cut a notch in the
plastic hanger so that the window will rest in the slot. Installed the pole
inside the door with the window completely in the up position. And then I
used zip ties to secure the pole to the door frame. Did this on both driver
side and passenger rear doors in 2008.

WesternRealtySvc says:

I used a hanger to hold up the window. I fished the bottom of the window
from the top slot, hooked it, pulled it up, bent it over the window sill &
cut it so you don’t see it. It’s been up for years now, had to do it to the
other door as well. Bought the jeep new, hardly ever used the rear window,
what crap!

Walter Grace says:

No offense to Chrysler, but part of their bailout settlement was to be
absolved of any recalls prior to the bailout.

MrSimplefilm says:

I like my Jeep Liberty, but I am tired of repairing the rear windows every
6 to 9 months. This will be my fifth time to repair the window, and I
always contact Chrysler’s Warranty Department to resolve the problem. It
just gets old after awhile and I am tired of playing this stupid game.
