Thank you for making this video. It was very helpful.
my brake light is not working but my the lights is lid up at night when
switched. how do i fix this?
Umm…in order to change any of the rear brake/tail/turn/backup lights on a
1999-2004 Grand Cherokee, you have to remove the entire socket. The socket
is just the plastic piece that holds the bulb, and screws into the lens
housing. The video clearly shows at :40 how to unscrew the socket from the
lens. And beginning at :49, the video shows a new socket, then the bulb
being inserted into the socket, then the socket being screwed into the lens
housing.
Your not supposed to touch the light bulb
the top of the brake light seems to be stuck or connected with a screw or
something. Any suggestions should I force it?
thanks, big help
