I got this guitar the other day. Not bad at all. After some truss rod and
bridge adjustments, it plays very well, The pickups are mid-hotness which
is fine. But they’re really not catching all the tone I need them too. The
bridge has this limited range that’s sort of centered around lower mid
frequencies. I plan on getting a set from Crash Magnetic Transducers for it
soon. After that, I imagine it’ll be a nice standard quality guitar.
This guitar is great for the money. The humbuckers got plenty of power.
Can’t really intonate it because of the cheap bridge design. I wonder if a
floyd rose can be installed.
Actually colors can influence in the players mood, making he play better
and consequently sound better. regards,
@czesio1454 Fiesta red is the color. Sunburst is sunburst color. I don’t
think the colors have any technical differences.
sweet getting that same guitar he uses in the beginning for a small price
of 160 this week sounds awsome
I`m own this “babe!… and I love Her!!
I wish they weren’t humbuckers on these new Jazzys and jags…. 🙁
i dont know whether to get the red or the sunburst
This is very good guitar. Great for grunge and punk. Also works good for
anything that requires a nice, fat tone. Takes gain well, without turning all
your cleans to mud.
So I was thinking of getting this guitar, mostly with the intentions of
making it into more of a project so I can teach myself how to “trick out” a
guitar. I was wondering how easy it would be to replace these pickups, how
universal are they? They are “Duncan designed” so does that mean I’m
limited to using Seymour Duncan pickups, or could other brands work? or
would there still bel limitations within the Seymour Duncan brand? What are
my choices for hum buckers that will fit this thing?
Why did they put humbuckers in it? 🙁 and no tremolo either? or cool
switching system…
Amazing guitar, I’ve got one and I love the sound 🙂 However could you guys
do a video of the Jagmaster if you have it ? That would be really nice !
Grotesque.
For sure not a traditional Jag (or Jazz in the others case) but its an
awesome platform for some serious mods!… Bigsby, locking tuners, pearly
gates and a glorious diarhia pickguard (hahaha sorry had to add the last
thing, seems everyone is using them now)
Though i respect squire, thats just not a good Jag tone
Hi, i’m indonesian, and this guitar was made in my country, at the place
call MOJOKERTO in East java, Mojokerto now became thebiggest central of a
lot of famous Guitar Factory, like squier, epiphone, ibanez, cort,
etc…and this guitar in my opinion is the state of the art in their price
range { since fender is too expensive for most musician in my country }.
looks like a nice guitar but can it keep up with my mexican tele and my
gibson costum shop?
@almdudler91 Well to me it doesn’t have any depth of tone.It sounds flat
and lifeless. No sparkle. Just my opinion.
i dont wanna be a fag but that is not a jaguar
It’s always awesome to see Kim Thayil doing guitar demos.
Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That color combo with the tortoise pickguard is quite possibly one of the
ugliest things I’ve ever seen on a guitar. That being said, this thing
plays nice and gritty, and I think I might have fallen in love with it.
love everything but the zebra pickups…
Excuse, can i supply the humbucker for a single coil for a cleaner sound?
Thanks
is it for metal??
Modified semour dancan?
Can I play heavy metal music with this jaguar, please?
ive never played guitar before, but NevadaMusicUK , has the guy this video
been playing around 20 yrs??? …… just curous 🙂
I think you might be dumb as far as the color, it’s pretty much perfect.
