I am such an idiot. I had the needle in backwards. I watched your video and
started to fix the timing when I noticed it. LOL. I won’t be making my own
video demonstrating this problem. Who knew a backwards needle won’t pick up
the bobbin thread.
OMG!!!! this is great information. I have a Singer Simple 3116 and since
day one it has never worked and I always thought it was me not knowing how
to use it. I was getting very frustrated because it was getting stuck all
the time and a whole bunch of thread was left underneath. After watching
this video and followed the instructions it works like a charm. Thank you
so much for posting this.
Thank You from far Poland Eastern Europe. I had the same problem the bobbin
was blocked by dirt. When I cleaned it and readjusted it starded to saw
correctly, but it still misses stiches on more complex settings. I have to
work on it again.
my Janome machine has the bobbin centred in the middle of the machine,
therefore i cant open it like you can? need help with fixing the bobbin
hook timing, it wont pick up thread
My timing keeps busting on my Brother machine! Your video has helped me so
much! I bought an old back-up Singer and hope this method will work on it,
too.
Just wanted to say thanks. My mother in law has a singer confidence
machine, and your video helped me fix it. Took about 10 minutes to repair
lol, Thanks again for sharing.
I’ve had my Brother LS for yeeears, probably going on 10, and just about a
month ago, the timing went. And yes, to take it the repair shop would have
taken two weeks and about $80. So thank you for being brave enough to take
apart your machine so that others can save time and money. I like to do
things myself too and your video certainly got me going in the right
direction! Thank you!!
Thank you! I have had so many problems with a machine that was given to me
and I think your video has resolved it. I kept bending needles because it
was hitting something metal and I thought it was just something bent. I
even took the machine apart but never knew about the bobbin timing until
your video. I was literally just off to buy another sewing machine. Fingers
crossed I can now finish my dress for Friday. Best wishes from London 🙂
Thank you so much for this video i actually used the info on my empisal
celebrity coz it almost looks the same as your brother but now becoz i’d
fiddled with it before finding this vid i’m now faced with another problem:
it stitches in one place the fabric nolonger moves on its own..please help
if you can
Hi, thankyou so much. Your video actually helped me with a different
problem. I thought I needed to take the whole casing out to put another
bobbin in, then couldnt figure out how to put it back. Your video showed me
exactly how to replace each piece. Bravo!:)
Thank you very very very much for info. and explanations. You are a smart
and talented lady .we need more ladies like you in this world. Keep it up
.You are the BEST.
Hello, I have the same problem the only thing is is that the pointy hook
does time with the needle but doesn’t make the loop. What do you think the
problem is or recommend?
Thank you for sharing this vedio- I knew my timing was off with the needle
and hook but had No idea how to adjust the timing . You are a life saver! I
have several quilts waiting to be finished for clients. Than You again.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. I was ready to throw my machine
across the room I was so frustrated. I really appreciate your sharing this
video.

I have a Lx2500. After the needle hit a metal piece, it began breaking the
needle thread. I think the impact retarded the needle drive a bit.
LIFE SAVER!!! Thanks sooooooo much
how far should the needle be adjusted as it thrust deep thru. Is there any
right measurement level? thanks.
