Jaguars are very sensitive kitties they hate low voltage as if it was 2 day old sour milk… Btw these babies has 2 batteries there's a second smaller one hiding either under the back seat or front wheel arches

Not a graduate of Jaguar U?

I worked for a tech company that made Jaguar's ECM's/ BCM's as the SMT op and when work was low the assembler. Funny enough these are under FORD. So my guess is the computer is half dead from cooking itself to death, because we where told to use standard white thermal paste by the contractor instead of thermal putty ( replacement for thermal pads and last as long if not longer ) and life of the white paste is 3 to 5 years after that the components are now burning up.

You’re too aggressive with the car

I enjoy you don't fix the Jag, nice move man, be honest with yourself!

Glen Whatley says:

Sad to see how bad that brand has gotten. It's more like a Junkguar.

Eric Oppel says:

Pretty much what most modern cars with computers do these days when the battery voltage gets too low.
Sometimes it just needs a new battery, and to reset all the codes, using the right tool such as a VCDS when a VW Golf does it.
Other times, it can be an expensive nightmare.
My own Golf did it once. Had all sorts of codes come up. Gearbox, steering, brakes, ABS, traction control etc.
It looked like the car was doomed!
New battery and much code resetting and all has been well ever since. 🙂
I think most cars using all those Bosch electronics modules would be similar. Which would be the majority of European cars.

Other simple things like having even just one of the 4 wheel speed sensors fail (which they all seem to do after about ten years) confuses the whole car, since it gets confusing data then, and all hell breaks loose.
It even affects the DSG and it starts doing some very weird gear changes.
A new ($5 on AliExpress) wheel speed sensor, and reset the codes, and the car is happy once again. Have learnt such things the hard way. 🙂

My shop had an identical jaguar not too long ago. Battery and alternator

Russ Sabourin says:

Jaguar always had electrical gremlins. Jag junk.
