@classiccarconcierge Yep, that’s actually how this thing works. It’s
tricking the car’s electronics into thinking that the key has either been
turned to the left or the right.

Very cool! Also if you insert your ignition key into the driver’s side door
lock and turn the key to the right to the ‘unlock’ position and hold the
key in that position, all windows go down. Continue to hold it there and
the convertible top will retract The same holds true vice versa. Turn the
key to the left to lock position and hold it in that position to raise door
windows; continue to hold and the top will raise up and lock into position.
