Next time use antisieze on the rods so you don't gull up the threads.

Could you tell me where you got your air bags and what kind or size? I've had the jag front end in my 37 truck for over 25 years and thinking the bags may have a better ride?

1:27 Funny how an English car has Imperial Bolt Sizing….. That's because Imperial is an English merasurement.

Grade 8 rods are much safer..

I just used 1 threaded rod. Went right down between the spring. Took the ball joint loose. Loosened the threaded rod. Down it went. This is the way jaguar does it. I just kind of made the tool. 4 bolts, 2ft of all thread rod. 4 over sized flat washers. I actually made my flats washers with 1/4 inch plate. Worked really well for me. You will end up bending the all thread rod. But who cares. You're going to throw it away when done.
