can rear break pad be done without release on computer?
Good video very informative and I know what tools I will need.
Done both rear wheels, can't get wear sensor into the spring hole and I'm stuck on it, taken along time to get this far not going to lie, problem after problem siezed everything, pins, pistons etc. 95% complete and get stuck on the most trivial part.
Great video, @ 3:37 do you leave the ignition ON or can you switch it off ? Not sure how you did that bit. Thanks
Great video and really helpful. I'm tempted to give this a go on my XF in the near future.
I found it easier to pull the silver spring out of the pad, push the sensor in then push the spring back in.
Great video! Thank you from Denver, CO
Joe blogs dose not have diagnostics tools so this vid is not fair…
Thank you! Do the sliding bolts need some grease? It seems like you did not fully pull them out. I wonder if this is recommended. I had a little bit hard time to push them back and to tighten them up. Pliers did help.
Hi there, Great videos. What is the name of your scanning tool? My one doesn't allow retraction of piston. Thanks
Great video
Super video, thank for posting.
Do you know if this is the same as a 2011 XJ? I’m tackling the rear pads tomorrow
Those weird nuts holding the disc on aren't needed outside the factory. They just keep the disc in place while the chassis goes through the factory until the wheels go. In a garage there's little risk of the disc falling off before a mechanic fits the wheel.
