Jaguar XF Hidden Menu Dashboard Gauges Lights DTC Check Gauge Sweep Tell Tales Engineering Mode

This is how to put a Jaguar XF dashboard in engineering mode. This is where you can check the gauges, the tell-tale lights, software version, DTC fault codes and all sorts of other inputs and outputs. This is a 2014 model but should work on all those with a push button start.

I only seem to get VIN and build dates etc, but I do have a scanner so not too much of an issue.

Would anyone know what the fuel system numbers mean? So the raw, filtered and percent?

@thecarpcatcatcher says:

I just get the VIN and oil level.

Hi, I have been getting the 'Check Predestrian System' fault for the last few days on my Jag Xf 2011 2.2L model. It can happen anytime without any warning and stalls the car instantly. I have to start the ignition completely from beginning to retart it again. This happened last year but resolved itself. No fault codes are being registered when checked via ODB connection. Any idea or suggestions of how to resolve this would be very much appreciated. Many thanks.

My XF loves restricted performance mode or as the wife calls it 'sulk mode'. Whenever I so much as check a fuse, it drops into it. Hopefully this will help me find out why.

Hi, is yours 2.2 or 3.0d?

Thanx.

Mines a 61 plate, but I done exactly what you said, and all it came up with is the VIN number.
