READ BEFORE PROCEEDING !

The starter relay has a failure mode where the spades are riveted.
The rivets loose contact with the spade and all sort of problems can manifest, like intermittent starting, etc

What needs to be done is that the contact points to the spades needs to be soldered. this needs to be done on the outside and on the inside of relay. Doing this will make the relay almost bullet proof.

This same problem is known to occur with the ignition switch, this needs soldering just on the outside.

It is better to solder rather than replace the part, since the replacement has the same defect.
