Nicholas Hoag says:

Great vid, thanks! did you solve the issue with the car stopping randomly?

John James says:

Hi Jess , I commend you on your patience and enthusiasm …, your car looks like an British version of a 1992 of an XJ40,,,, a beautiful Drive, with air suspension…

Malcolm Young says:

Jesse, when you run the engine don't rely on the ammeter/voltage gauge in the car, these are not the most reliable gauges. Set your voltmeter to 20 Vokts DC and when the car is running put the probes on the battery terminals for a more accurate reading. Usually above 13 volts up to about 14.2 Volts…(13.8 – 14.2 Volts ideal I think?)

Malcolm Young says:

Hi Jesse, removed my alternator from below. Was a pain but in the end achievable. Had to remove the anti roll bar but changed the bushes and drop links whilst there (IIRC?)
Good to see a true Jaguar enthusiast who obviously loves his car. Keep posting.
