Those seats are definitely Ambla, you can see by that horrible shine and
when sat in they don’t crease the way leather does,and when the
doorcappings were screwed back in ,he didn’t use those little cups under
the screws and they went down into the wood.
its ambla seats they fitted in that mk2 jag from a later model (plastic)
not leather, they dont no what leather seats look like mike edd or the new
buyer dont no what there looking at, 100% plastic, trust me i do no what im
talking about and i do own a mk2 jag (with leather in it) do your home work
and read up on them

knowing a bit about the mk2 i noticed that the seats were definitely ambla
plastic covered, and the colour of the body was a non standard colour, the
engine oil catch can was a diy add on, and the car still smoked like a
good-un when driving round oxford at the end. at least he wasn’t selling it
for super-premium money though. its a good programme to watch, but i’m sure
its not 100% accurate on sourced parts and lucky fixes. its difficult to do
around 4 jobs to a car to sell it on at a profit!
