This is the second part of my mission to save this Jaguar X-type. I bought this car sight unseen in auction, purely based on the auctioneer’s description, however the car turned out to be a lot worse than i had expected!
Check out the first episode for a walkaround and list of all of the issues that this car has.

Hi Johnny, wondering where you get the slip-on safety boots you wear? Many thanks.
Can you show us (at normal speed) how you go about doing the smart repair Inc mixing of the paint for the air brush please.
Can't help but admlre your resilience to whatever comes up. Great work attitude.
You are so clever fixing the bodywork on vehicles. We'll done.
Hi Johnny, could you do a video demonstration on how to check a car over before purchasing. Just for anyone who wants to purchase a car privately, the process you would follow before purchasing, such as checking engine, gear changes etc
Coming on nice mate.
We can all clearly see where Johnny gets his cash from, but what I really want to know is where does Johnny get his bucket loads of energy and enthusiasm from ? Lol Do all those repairs, record and edit a video about it and get a haircut ; all in couple of days- wow
I learn a lot from these videos the attention to detail not just in the work you do but how you video it and explain it is excellent. PS That filler was in it's way a masterpiece!
Interesting investigation of the damage..
Great job as always. I wish i was your first neighbor Johnny, i love dogs :). Good that you are fixing the cracked bumper and not trying to source out another one god knows when.
Wow, well done Johnny! You really show some skills here. That amount of filler used… what would they have expected back then…
that right hand rear light unit looks like it has some gunk in the bottom of it where a seal has failed?
That damaged area down the side looks like it had been a result of a vehicle dragging into it, perhaps a narrow road whilst the Jag was parked up?
However it was caused, to me it was like you’ve got the ATeam music cranked up and off you go. Banging, sanding and stapling to get the desired result. Now it’s ready for paint. Awesome job from sourcing new parts to getting them attached. Can’t wait for the next episode.
Nice long video, thanks johnny!
Hi Johnny , really enjoy seeing you carrying out various repairs on your vehicles, always great attention to detail, just fantastic
