Easy fix. Remove the assembly. Seal that sunroof down permanently!

Ray, you have a kind looking face, which is good it goes with your kind demeaner. Sometime parts are just out of reach because of cost or it is not available at that point you have to take the whole thing apart and rebuild it with nuts, bolts and plastic washer or gromets. You can and probably will end up doing it that way. Pull it out take a look it might just be a plastic washer or something like that that is worn out. you maybe able you use a track from another car or something. I know we don't like Franken Stien-ning car parts but sometimes that's all we can do… You are doing a good job as usual…. Keep the Faith you'll get it done.
Quite the quagmire this job has become. Maybe if someone has a 3D plastic printer can help recreate the part necessary to remediate the leak or a bigger seal around the glass would be in order until vehicle is sold..

MY DUMB QUESTION WOULD BE: IS THE TRACK ASSEMBLY JAGUAR-SPECIFIC OR WILL A DIFFERENT MAKE/MODEL PROVIDE THE NECESSARY PART TO FIX THE PROBLEM ?
I did a sunroof on a jag like that two days ago. I work for a glass repair company Same problem glass not sealing correctly after dropping the assembly I found that it had a hair line crack. On frame. That was causing the driver side to not close correctly. Customer found a used unit on eBay. I installed it and had him go through the car wash with no problems.
