Dosent the handbrake need to be reset using diagnostics? I was given to understand i would not be able to replace rear pads myself.

Indeed way to much grease, but maybe even more important: grease on the brake surface of the pads! (6:27). At the first brake, this grease will spread on the discs and the rest of the pads, instantly killing them. Sorry guys, but the surface of the discs and pads need to be absolutely grease free. Handle them like they were your grandma’s cristal glasses 😉

Isn't the handbrake electronic ? Did you have to plug into the car to release the piston or did it just wind back ?
