thanks for the tips. just bought an xj6 and loving it! when i saw that bolt
i lol’ed. i’ve done a lot of oil changes, to mostly Japanese cars and never
saw a behemoth drain plug like that. had to go to sears and buy a 30mm
socket.
thanks for the vid i was going to do this but i freaked out when i saw the
huge bolt on the underbelly of my beast, its a 92, but now you’ve allowed
me to gather my confidence again
Gotta watch too when you remove that bolt, oil shoots out about 12 inches
from the pan and then as pressure goes down you need to move the pan little
closer.
good deal, thats what my channels all about. as i have to fix things on
this car i will post all videos. i am able to fix most all but
transmissions. thats a special type of fix that takes lots of training.

What type of oil would you recomend to use, the manual says 5 types based
on different weather temps.. is there a good year round oil?.
