the passage ways, clean it up real good and put it back together…Dave

@ding0925 I was listening to you talk and couldn’t place your voice. I kept
thinking i know that voice, then i read this comment and it clicked. Man
that shit over there was crazy, you shoulda just drove a bull dozer and
pushed everyone out of the way. They are freakin nuts. No wonder they have
some many deaths on the roads.

Jason Stotz says:

at 7:07, you stated that the other side lug nuts come off the same way, Im
pretty sure its supposed to be the opposite way on the other side. These
appear to be Stud Piloted wheels…

Justin Giffi says:

Thanks Dave I appreciate the feedback! Times are tough and I am just using
it around my property so any money I can save the better.

I have a 1997 international 4700 that the passenger side king pin has alot
of play but the driver side is tight, would you recommend replacing just
the passenger side or both? I am new to medium duty trucks so any advice
would be appreciated. Thank you Justin

David Redmon says:

David Redmon says:

Working on trucks is similar to cars except if you get your finger caught
in truck parts people will call you 3 fingers..

I’m an automotive tech, ASE certified. Never replaced a kingpin before on a
vehicle. But I got my first taste on a Mitsubishi Fuso truck. Gotta give
you props man! Cause doing a kingpin job makes replacing struts or ball
joints look like a walk in the park!

David Redmon says:

The worse thing about a 2axel brake job is all the lugnuts.. befor i got
that big impact i did them with a breaker bar..
