Can you make a video on how to Check engine light on a 1990 trooper 2.8 v6

Johnnhy5ive says:

That’s fine, should run good.

1chehade says:

it’s a 4ze1 engine by the way

1chehade says:

great vid, I drive a 1996 Isuzu rodeo and I did a compression test and all
of my cylanders were 150 psi is that good or bad?

Johnnhy5ive says:

Yeah, there were a lot of different configurations for these things around
the world.

Aaron Odguy says:

Hi J5. I live in Australia and have been driving and modifying my ’96 Isuzu
pickup with the 4ZE1 motor for about 12 years now. It has a different inlet
manifold to yours and doesn’t have an O2 sensor fitted. In fact I’ve never
seen one over here that does. My friends ’89 has the same inlet manifold as
yours and it doesn’t have an O2 sensor either.

Mark Rupert says:

Thanks for posting all of your informative and well made videos, brother !
In your experience, is this lack of response to the unplugged O2 sensor
apply the Federal and California ECM units ? I’m swapping engines between
my recently wrecked 89 RS and a new-to-me RS, and have both ECMs, so this
video fired up my curiosity. Does one perform better than the other ?
Appreciate your thoughts, and will see you on Planetisuzu..my sig is Oregon
RS Mark

Johnnhy5ive says:

I don’t know for a fact but I would assume that the Federal version may
perform better. I’m not on the planet anymore they’ve banned me for life.
You can get ahold of me here, but I’ve got a facebook page setup, you can
send me messages directly from there. Thanks

Arch McKinnon says:

Good Stuff John. Good stuff!!

Johnnhy5ive says:

I didn’t appreciate your tone. You called me a liar. I’m sorry if your
light came on. Pull the bulb if it bothers you. Did disconnecting the O2
sensor make any difference in how it ran?

ISUZU1987 says:

good to no because i broke mine wen. i putt the motor in. good vid J5

Johnnhy5ive says:

Thanks Arch!

Daddi's House says:

you lie, my check engine light comes on

Johnnhy5ive says:

Thanks man. Glad I could help out.

Daddi's House says:

why, you said that the lights dont come back on, well I disconnected my O2
sensor and the check engine light came on. So your insulting me cause what
you said may not be true for all 88 troopers….. if your that insulted,
why not try and figure it out instead of getting offended……
