If you want to maximize the mileage and engine hours between the required deep burn cycle of your DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter), then make this part of your morning DOT walk around. The steps:
Park in a location free from debris
Put the truck in park
Engage the park brake
Depress and HOLD the manual regeneration button for 3 seconds.

Thank you for the tutorial. When selecting the button for some seconds it will check the PM level. If required to Regen I had to push a second time then to actually start the cycle.
