I don’t remember seeing this on the 1.8 or 2.0L engines.

Yeah Rob, if the oil level is maintained, oil changed regularly, and you don’t ride the clutch, or if your truck is an automatic you won’t have this problem.
mine makes the “grlgrlgrl” noise but im hoping its just the exhaust virbrating when the rpms wind down.

mine has 259076 miles on engine so i think its had a good lifespan but she is still chuggin along !!!
