How did you go about finding a replacement engine for you iihi excavatar? I
have a mini 35J and I am having problems getting it to start. I have going
to do a compression test; it could also be the glow plugs but just replaced
them about 1 year ago. I crank and crank but cant get it to start. Al;so I
have fuel leaking out of the 2nd injector but it has always started up to
recent weeks. Any help would be appreciated? My engine model number is 3LD1

Hi Josh, Kinda involved, but need more info. 1st how many hours on the
engine? 2nd is there any smoke at all and if so what color is it? There are
many things it could be, but w/o more info it’s hard to guess. As far as
where I found mine, it was a cragslist find with less than a 100 hours.
Your engine is the same as mine just bigger (1500cc). Let me know more
about your issue and we can try and sort it out. Fuel, heat, pressure is
all you need. If one is missing it will not start.
