Eduardo Cervantes says:

thank you very much for your advice helped me a lot thanks friend

Martin Obregon says:

Its amazing how many people comment ” he installed it upside down”.
Followed by a smug “lol”. I imagine they sit there feeling clever not
realizing that it is installed correctly because…….get this…..its a
ford! MORONS!

Christopher Hendrix says:

Do not put the bottom plate on the rubber directly. You are almost
guaranteed to tear your boot. And he didn’t press the ball joint in upside
down. It’s the correct way for this truck. Some vehicles do have the stud
facing upwards. Not all dodges are the same either. An 04 ram 1500 presses
in from bottom. So does an 00 Silverado/Sierra

amir2980 says:

if you know more so go with it whats the reason to watch this one.if you
cant help don’t bother

ken wasiqi says:

AmpDecay says:

@audiocollector1966

jlhunt888 says:

I am not at all happy with you, Nate. Look at the way you have that press
set up the second time, putting the receiver directly against the rubber of
the ball joint. This is the first time I’ve done this. Following your
example exactly I ripped the rubber and had to buy a new ball joint. Booo!

mattp1482 says:

@danimal2581 yeah, cause we all want to watch a video thats two hours
long… if you cant get the brakes off yourself without a video, then you
shouldn’t be attempting this in the first place..

mattp1482 says:

@fmfpower20 guess you dont have 4 wheel??

Jason Phillips says:

What a retard! U put the thing in up side down, and the snap ring goes
under not on top

DGeorge C says:

Upside down??? Didn’t you dumbshits watch the first part of the video where
he is removing the ball joint?

evaristo hernandez says:

tim twing says:

effort

kenjams says:

Cool…left out some steps but I got the idea.

mateo155 says:

pretty good, now I know how to do it, instead to pay the dealer $90 dollars
and hour. d.i.y don’t led those thiefs get your money

Nick Henton says:

keep the good vids coming-dont ever mind the haters- thanks

dave crawford says:

Well i guess you dont know what your talking about. On any dodge truck the
top and bottom ball joints have metal studs holding them in place. You
would be right but i have an OEM BALL JOINT .On the aftermarket ones they
are held in place by a nut and bolt…. So you shut the fuck up and learn
how to spell.

dave crawford says:

yea real helpful! not i have a 03 dodge dakota, and you dont do any of this
and none of your vids show a dodge. mine you have to drill the studs out
and the replacement ball joints come with bolts instead. can you get a vid
on that?

blojay47 says:

thanx i found this very useful and i have to install mine upside up on my
mustang

how0will0this0end says:

I cant believe my eyes. This guy must just be a model cause he installed it
UPSIDE DOWN!!! :))

Karol Groh says:

hehehe its sticking down from the lower arm , but its suposed to be
sticking up from it XDDDD

Adam Kelemen says:

dude just installed that upside down

WHEREtheFUNK says:

why did you put the text infont of the video? cant see what you are doing

ima14yearoldmechanic says:

i have that ratchet and im 15 and paid like 10 bucks for it.

Megatron1764 says:

Why did you put it in upside down?

danimal2581 says:

Funny how they don’t show any of the real work like taking the brakes and
spindles apart…. Who came up with this crap. I hope thats not Nates
actual tool set

QQTrick1QQ says:

2000 Silverado 4×4 has no snap ring so does it press up or down??

Bill Bath says:

Yes but using a inner tie rod remover tool for a leverage pipe to me is a
no no…..

therealswarvey says:

Excellent demo. Had to do this to my AU Falcon this morning. Much the same
except the balljoint is inverted in the lower arm, requiring a slightly
different technique. I got my press from a U.S seller for approximately
$150 AUD inc shipping on eBay. Received it within 4 days!

Matt Atkins says:

Could you do a video on replacing ball joints on early to mid 1990s Chevy
Astros/GMC Safari vans?

coongobbler says:

coongobbler Nate, I think you do a great job with your videos and your
safety tips are excellent. I tried this for the first time. Can’t seem to
get the lower ball joints to install or press up? No problem with the
uppers!

bblackmon19 says:

adblocker 😀

aggrobob79 says:

I appreciate your video

Jim Humphrey says:

Thomas Helton says:
