Wish I watched this video earlier! I had the same sleeve issue…ended up using a mallet to make it flush. Also, my 99 Rodeo had TWO wires attached to the bolt part of the alternator. Is that correct or should one be a ground? Alternator was replaced once already at a shop. I am unsure if that was done correctly.

Thanks for your video , hard to find a vid with the same engine …I have a 1999 Isuzu trooper , and just for kicks , I think its going bad cause after getting stranded and trying to jump(didnt work) , I push started it to get it on and on the road  .on the way home all my gauges went crazy…battery meter went all the way low…and the truck stayed on …problem is , it was new battery , and after I got home I turned it off and tried to turn it back on and just a slow crank …am I wrong here but its the alternator right ?

Doug Scott says:

not bad, thanks my friend
