Hi dear, The Astra from 2003 shold be from the G series. If I remember well
in 2003 Isuzu engines were not anymore applied in Opel cars. That engine
should be an opel CDTI. It is also not bad, but the Japanese diesels are
famous for their long persistence. A glow plug in the diesel engine
preheats the engine. Its defect never causes major problem in the car and
defects are really not frequent.If any, easy to solve. You won’t need to
worry about. For more read wikipedia/Diesel engine
