Good Video. Sometimes folks who know how to do these things will skip over
something you may need to know because they think everybody should know it
or figure it out. You did not do that in this video. You gave a good
detailed explanation.

11comingatu says:

hey im not the maker of the video but i am a heavy duty mechanic by trade
and hate to see people throw away money the belt doesnt have to be changed
everytime only if the belt is in bad shape. by bad shape we generally mean
not flexible, very dry, cracked or other whys any surface damage you may
see then i would replace it. other than that serpintine belts can be as
easy to fix as spraying them down with some wd40 when they start to squeal
excessively.

Krysis2177 says:

Hey, my question is, do i have to completely loosen the belt to get the
alternator off? Or can I just loosen it a little bit?

bill gates says:

sw100xg plz refrain from making yourself looking like an idiot, its
pronounced serpenteen, if you ever went to an english class before in your
life you would know that there is 2 ways the i is pronounced, i and eee(i)
they are used differently in different words, for serpentine its pronounced
with the long tense of the letter i, which sounds like eeee
