Hey, you are not cleaning the actual EGR passage. EGR passage is a metal
tube from exhaust to egr vlave.

Great video bud helped me a lot and fix my problem the tube behind the
throttle body was closed shut with carbon and the backside of the throttle
body was pretty bas also……!!!! thanks again.
Great video. I had been fighting the check engine light for an EGR code
for awhile. First thing I did was replace the EGR valve itself and of
course that wasn’t it. Cleaned the tube like you described and light has
gone off and stayed off! Thanks!
