EGR valves can be a real pain to remove.I’ll research this product.I may
give it a try.

maybe intake clean but what about oil leaks you can see on video ?

youtubeguy says:

@Dan Lim. My sentiment initially, then I saw the valve cleaning without
“Disassembly”. For those with some automotive skills, disassembly would be
the best way to clean the EGR. But, for the rest of us, the cleaner test
kit is the answer. (my 2 cents)

golfunka1 says:

secondo me non ne vale la pena…..tra gasolio, tempo perso e stress del
motore a vuoto…..valeva la pena smontare e pulire, dopo si che era tutto
pulito alla perfezione…..e non che si notava appena la pulizia… :)

corayant says:

So, moral of the story is. Save yourself the time and extra money for that
kit. And just take the egr off ONCE so you can get a full and through
cleaning.

great video.
in cars without maf sensor there are a map sensor to measure the air volume
by measuring the air absolute pressure that get in the intake manifold to
the engine .
thanks .

Curtis Hickerson says:

Can this be done on a non Diesel engine? My pontiac is reading P0401 and I
have cleaned it twice. Hasn’t seemed to help. I was thinking this would be
a better option.

Dan Lim says:

Based on the video, it would have been a lot easier to just disassemble the
egr. Would have saved a lot of fuel plus the cost of the two aerosol cans
of useless stuff.
