The charging regulator IC has 6 pins: B .. S .. R .. L .. F .. E ..
Pin B: to battery ..
Pin S: for sensing battery voltage ..
Pin R: to activate the IC .. from IGnition key ..
Pin L: to indicator Lamp in dashboard .. via a relay ..
Pin F: to rotor to generate magnetic Field
Pin E: earth/ground
.. note .. pin F is not written in the schematic .. it connects to rotor winding through carbon brush..
(pin F tidak ditulis dlm skema… pin ini terhubung ke lilitan rotor melalui carbon brush)
The original regulator type: TR1Z-53 12V (by Hitachi ??) ..
(Tampak relay charging “CHG relay” akan mematikan indikator aki di dashboard “CHG lamp” .. apabila stator membangkitkan tegangan ..) ..
Pin IG is activated by ignition key … which will activate the IC (through 1 small diode) to start energizing the rotor winding (to generate magnetic field) ..
(Pin “IG” .. alias ignition …mendapat tengangan 12V battery ketika kunci kontak dihidupkan .. dan akan mengaktifkan IC (melalui 1 dioda kecil) untuk mulai memberikan tegangan/arus ke rotor agar membangkitkan medan magnet )…
