In this video I will go over how to _partially_ disassemble a late 1990s era GM Delco Electronics Theftlock design radio to replace worn buttons in the faceplate. These radios were ubiquitous in GM cars, trucks and vans of the mid to late 1990s and early Y2K era. However, this video applies to _only_ two models of these Delco radios, the one with an integrated CD drive and the one with an integrated cassette tape drive. Known by the three RPO (regular production option) numbers UN0, UL0, and UP0).
The specific radio I am showing in the video is the original Chevrolet dealer installed GM 15766343 RPO UN0 for a 1998 Chevrolet Cheyenne OBS (old body style) GMT400 truck, but all of the radios in the year range of 1995 thru 2005 of the following GM and Isuzu makes and models should be the same, or very similar, in their disassembly and approach to this cosmetic radio faceplate repair:
