I diagnose and replace a faulty fuel injector in my 1989 Isuzu Trooper. It has the 2.6L, 4ZE1 4 cylinder engine, mated to the MUA5 5 speed manual transmission. In this video, I show how to replace the fuel injector. I replaced it with a GB remanufactured fuel injector that I purchased on RockAuto.

Great job, and showing the way to do the work on this magnificent toy's. Thank you. God bless you
I just came across your channel tonight. Excellent job editing!
I have an 89 that’s been sitting since I botched up a fuel injector rebuild. I thought I did everything right, but wasn’t quite sure how the injectors are supposed to feel when seating them, if they are supposed to pop in or if the fuel rail holds them in. Anyway, I fired it up and gas was squirting out of one of them. It’s possible that the body of the injector itself is bad. But I kind of was burned out from fighting the common chamber, getting the old gasket cleaned off and getting that EGR pipe installed on the backside. I did discover a trick for the EGR pipe – put a pair of vise grips on it and it’s much easier to manipulate into position to get the threads started.
The power of editing… Great job! Found the answer to my biggest question…Rock Auto. Did you do all 4 while you had it apart? How are they working out? Thanks for sharing.
