if you got this 'fixed' by the dealer under warranty – the new ones don't have plastic, they have a metal washer kinda pressed in, so this won't work 00Rodeo.(same thing will happen again) SO check ! Anyone know if the metal washer comes out ? or what type of PIN could replace ? maybe the pin can be widened ?

those hinges are like a bicycle part, not a car part. also, i saw the plastic grommet had a flat head, i guess to swivel on the metal above it.
