Catinadafurnace, did you ever get this problem resolved? I’m having the
same issue on 2011 G37x. I’m heading into infiniti tomorrow, to see what
the issue is. Thought I received a great deal, but now I don’t know smh…

its gotten better but its still not 100% gone

Chris J says:

That is mine all day.

John Arnold says:

Look into uprev or ecutek. They can reprogram the ecu that controls the
throttle response and transmission lag to improve this. There is an
Infiniti sb about this also.

David P. says:

I feel your pain! I couldn’t take the lag so I traded my G in for ’13
accord sport 6speed. good luck with your issue.

check the throttle bodies….

dOp3bOi599 says:

push the butterfly valves inside the throttle bodies; they should be
springy and move back in the original position when you push them, and
lastly make sure the ignition is off when you do so….

no one likes vertically orientated videos

Doug Webb says:

I have a 2012 G37x with the same problem. Taken it to the dealer 3 times,
they tell me it’s my imagination, or, 1 tech finally told me that the
problem is well known, but they can’t fix it so too bad for you. I find the
car hugely unresponsive. You’re on the highway, brake, then hit the gas in
quick succession and the car literally does not respond. Also, when
cruising at city speed, you give it a moderate acceleration demand and
engine bogs. Problem is software related I believe.
