Great video thanx a lot, but i dont think u need to remove the bottom plastic sheild. Just take some rags and let it rest on the belts so that when coolant pours out it gets absorbed by the rags

ddemier says:

Just use caution when you open the cooling system up on these Infiniti G35’s. Trying to get all the air out and purge/burp the system is more difficult than most cars. There is a purge/burp valve philips over by the battery compartment. Still could get bubble down in heater core like I did some how.

I just grab a big old towel and stuff it under the thermostat. unscrew and it’ll soak everything up before it gets to drip anywhere else.

TheAverageGuysGarage says:

Yea the stealership will get you. I have had the lights wet sanded and polished it just eventually comes back. the way I new the thermostat was bad, was because the car was over heating and there were no coolant leaks.

Zeppelinlv2007 says:

Oh I forgot to ask, how did you know the thermostat was bad?
