Thanks….
You are not even funny, man. Somebody is going to read your comment and
think this is a good idea. Unlike the comments that suggest you use a
chainsaw to take off the strut nut…or better yet, a hacksaw to cut
through the spring. That sounds so riddiculous that it is funny.
Your Locks are backwards 😉
No, they’re right. Try standing on the other side of your computer when you
watch the demonstration: doesn’t that look better? If that doesn’t, stand
on your head while you watch it.
@cheshirej100 it is still quite risky to decompress the springs like that.
much safer to use compressors and no1 could get hurt then. They’re really
cheap as well
@dmgcat HAHAHAHAHA
i found you can just release teh middle nut and use the weight of the car
to safely compress and decompress it
@cddragonslayer lmfao! im with you
haha rockin the cortez !
good stuff buddy
@TS6DK anytime inbred…. Anytime…
lol spring compressors who needs these just wack the bolt of u paranoid
faggot, in my opinion i think these are more dangerous becasue if something
goes wrong you then have three flying lumps of metal too avoid.
It’s awesome that the strut is an all-in-one piece car part. My car’s front
struts and coils are over a decade old so I could just remove the bolts and
then throw the struts away and replace it with a new one without having to
disassemble the old one. :]
How the hell do you do that? lmao…
i never made those comments
The only problem i always have is getting the strut to go back on the
vehicle, its always to long. The spring compressors never want to fit in
the fender. Any ideas?
@TS6DK And your mama is one of those crappy foreign jobs!!!
I’d like to see a video for replacing the springs with center shocks and
using the center ‘single compressor’. I have not used one before. Anyone
know of a video for this?
love your vids..i swear your stoned most of the time lol..omfg funny..but
love the level exactly of detail you do…keep it up buddy..YOU ROCK! You
saved me major cash!
Good video, nice to see someone putting safety first.
Oh Thats Much Better! Thank you…
Wimp!! Just do it by hand, it’ll be reet :p
where was this video two hours ago before i release the tention on my
spring
Dont gas stations have a machine for this so called deadly compression job
I love this guy, Full of knowledge and great at explaining things!
Very educative…i need this service for a ford ranger 95
@cheshirej100 why dont you do us a favor and be the one that tries to just
whack the bolt off. i dare you to try to take apart and reassemble a strut
assembly without the macpherson strut spring compressor…….also, youtube
it or it didnt happen.
That is crappy american suspension right there!
He talks about how dangerous changing the spring is yet wears no safety
glasses. LOL otherwise pretty good video.
@iarhungry you mean lincoln continental… lol
NERDD
Boy you’re great… But I don’t see you uploading videos any often, I bet
you can make a name of yourself on YouTube… And that’s how my clothes end
up after watching your videos…
ford probe forever
the spring hit me in the face. im suing!
good video..except i can never find the next step in sequence…
yes..that looks kinda dangerous if you are careless.Thanx for the info. jP
Oh fuck, Not this guy again! Hey expertvillage, make a single video about
every topic… not like 10 videos with the same introduction and the same
boring people.
those things are deadly i wont touch them with a fllor mounted safty spring
removal unit
Nice job!
@ericbofcarsonc Thanks for the comment retard.
I run the retaining pins backwards so that the blunt end/lip help hold the
spring a little better.
Same here :/
Love those greasy pants and dirty gloves. Makes it look like you have done
some real work.
