Our gauge cluster bulb blew, making it almost impossible to see things like the speedometer, fuel gauge etc… during the day and invisible at night.
I tackle the project by buying a used cluster from eBay with unknown mileage hoping it worked. Turns out it had less mileage, so I opted to just transfer the bulb instead of having to solder the chip that stores the odometer.
I also believe a Nissan/ Infiniti dealer has the ability to correct the mileage, but I have no idea of the average cost or involvement of the project – in case I just installed the cluster with little fuss.
Just replaced mine. Very helpful video. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you for posting this repair!!!!

hello good afternoon a question where I can get the ballast that illuminates the entire board
do you have a diagram for this part?
Hi, I recently replaced my bad cluster with another used one. The new cluster lights turned on and all the meters worked fine except the speedometer. Is it necessary to do reprogramming after installation for the speedometer to work? or once installed it should work? I believe the speed meter might be bad and I want to confirm if programming by the dealer is needed or not before reinstalling and spending more money. Thank you!
