What if my g35 already has a factory navigation system? Could I just pull
it out and use the pioneer? Or would I need some parts of the old
navigation system?

Probably should have included one of the most important parts which was how
to remove all the dash pieces, where all the screws are located, that kind
of stuff. Fuck the JDM kit, it costs way too much. The stock buttons look
cheap anyways!

That’s because he was using the Metra kit. If you can find a JDM dash kit,
it has the factory knobs on there, instead of the cheap ones.
i have a 2004 infiniti g35x , my ex unplugged / disabled my navigation
system . So that even when i turn my car on the navigation doesnt turn on .
Do you know how i can plug it back in or what exactly i need to connect ?

No, there isn’t. However, if you can find a JDM dash kit, it will have the
factory unit controls. It does cost a bit more, but it’s worth it, in my
opinion.

Is there a way to swap the buttons from the stock unit to the metra unit?
@mistasage I have the metra kit and the buttons DO look cheap… however,
the sound I get is way worth the change 😉
The climate buttons on the aftermarket look so cheap…. I’d rather keep
the stock assembly with the Bose
