This is how you get a Nissan or Infiniti Cam Sensor or Crank sensor with this type of connector to lock if it doesn’t automatically lock for you.

I was frustrated with this connector. It took me 2 minutes to remove the
sensor and 30 minutes to disconnect the sensor. I just wanted to rip it
off. Video helped. Thanks.
Yea, thanks for showing me how to plug something in. Duh! But how the hell
do you take the clip off!
Are you saying it’s not that easy? or are you saying it in a way where I
make it look easy?
Aint that easy
Ok, now take it back apart..that would be useful
where would i be able to get a new connector in case i broke mine when
replacing the sensor?
How do you calibrate the sensor?
Anyone knows where can I get a new connector anyone have one to sell?
Thanks,
How do you remove the sensor? Push the inside portion until it clicks, and
then pinch the locking tab?
These sensors don’t need to be calibrated. They just plug in and go. If you
replace a Cam or a Crank sensor with a after market one, that normally
doesn’t work and can cause the same code to keep returning or cause no or
hard start issues. When it comes to electrical parts stick with the dealer!
Salvage yard I am afraid. This connector is not available and sold
separately.
Just press the center tab down to release the connector. I use a small
screw driver to press it down.
