That’s only on older model g35 with de the new hr and vhr that’s comes In g37 they made where you can replace spark plug tube gasket so no need to replace the whole valve cover only g35 with de engine you have to replace whole valve cover
Pro tip. Using locking pliers or vise crips destroys the actual strut making sure it will Never seal. Spend $20 on Strut support clamps. Every mechanic in my shops gets a set. I didn’t even purchase them to save struts. I bought them for struts failing and hoods closing on my guys heads

Respect the business man. But the middle gaskets you can change. The problem with the whole valve cover some times is. That the connection points for the breather hoses break. Causing the car to misfire and act crazy.
