Moto_V says:

VERY GOOD VIDEO THANK YOU 😀

Dystopia says:

I wanna do this myself and i have a question: These guys i talked to locally "come and pick up your cluster" but the way YOU in this video recalibrated the needles makes me wonder HOW would they be able to do it if they didnt have anything but the cluster? Meaning i'd get scammed.

Roman Figueroa says:

This video was super helpful but it didn't seem to work for me. My car is throwing a p0181, p0182, and p0462. I took my cluster apart to reflow the resistors and tried doing it myself but that didn't go well so I went somewhere local to get it done. After I put the cluster bag together the gauge would not budge and neither would the light. So after this I switched out the fuel sending unit and the fuel pump from another g35 that I have and that didn't work either. Is there anything I'm missing? Is there any way I can tell is the soldering was done right?

Thanks for this video. Are you still accepting soldering repairs if I send this in to you? How do I go about this? Also, I think it is the cluster. I just replaced the fuel sensor on the drive side l and cleaned the fuel pump level lines with a qtip. That didn’t work and still have P0462 code. Also, my battery light in the dash flickers on and off for no reason sometimes so I am also leaning torwards this cluster issue. What do you think! Looking to take this apart soon. Thanks!

BOOYA says:

This video is legendary. Please don't stop making videos!

Cameron Cowger says:

This problem has haunted me for years, and no mechanic/speedometer repair shop in LA would attempt it. Thanks to you, I fixed it in a day. UPDATE: check engine light has stayed off after completing the drive cycles, and it now passes CA Smog testing. Cannot thank you enough.

W Isaak says:

Hey bud, we really appreciate what you’re doing. Can we send you some bucks or so?

Naz says:

Thanks for uploading this video! I just got an 06 G35 coupe and all the gauges seem to be off. I’m pretty sure the cluster is the problem because I used an obd2 scanner to look at the tachometer, speedometer, coolant temperature and gas gauge and they don’t match the cluster. Will doing this repair fix my problem?
Speedometer is off by 7-10 mph
RPMS are off by 400-500
Coolant will stay at a quarter when warmed up
Gas gauge will be at half the line when empty
All the dash lights seem to be fine

Aaron Sanford says:

Respect for making this video. I haven’t had a gas gauge since 2019 and this walk through made it so easy.

David Deusinger says:

Just wanted to say thank you for making this video, just resoldered my board tonight at work. I was so surprised at the lack of solder on those resistors, and one even had a crack in it. Will post again if it fixed my issue, cheers!
Edit: Left the house with 3/4 tank (which I know was BS), now it’s between half and a quarter which I believe is correct. Seems like it worked!

Jeremy Smith says:

What do I need to fix the cluster in a 2005 g35 coupe so the sport shifter mode will work all the time

Jesus Pena says:

Does this fix the dim lighting and is it just a lack of sauder on the small chip

slowed songs says:

great video, only one that make since!

Amgawd says:

thank you , been pulling my hair out trying to figure out how to calibrate

Cuddy Goat says:

just finished doing this and it finally fixed the problem on my g35. great video!!!!
