Yo ShopLife! Just replaced my camshaft sensor bank 2 (driver side) with the help from your vid as well as changing the belts from your other video. Very helpful, thank you for taking the time to make these.

Out of everything I did on my car today, the hardest and most annoying part was the shield underneath the car. So frustrating, all the bolts were rusted and when I tried loosening them it would break the plastic surrounding it. Had to use zip ties :O

duuude, you work on nissans too? didnt know you worked on J cars. i just left japan a month ago for california. picked up an 03 Nissan skyline (g35 in america) a few hours ago. took it home and as I was backing into my parking spot, it shut off. I remember having the same problem with my e46 in tokyo and it was the cam sensors. As with the e46, i didnt get a check engine light on the skyline. so i immediately suspected the cam sensors. i'm heading down to southern cal in a couple months, as one of the reasons I'm in the US is to make a film. would most def love to come check out your shop. Thanks for the vid.

tony cruz says:

How much is the sensor?

Jose R says:

Just wondering are oem sensors recommended? I’ve heard of aftermarket sensors setting off the check engine code again

Black Rampage says:

Do you have to reprogram anything after install?

Omg brother thank you so much for this. My daughters went out and diagnosis alone they wanted 75 bucks the 1 he shop time per side. I appreciate this video and you keeping it clean!

DJ Rodriguez says:

Take the bolt off first with an open ended wrench. Don't drop the bolt…also a cooler engine is better than burning yourself.

Well, scratch this video idea. You have the best video on this repair given you have a spare VQ35DE block laying around to show how simple of an install this is to do yourself. Great upload!
