Hey guys in this video i show you how to replace a starter on a 1993-2002 infinti g20. In most cases when your starter is staring to go out your car will take long to start and you might hear grinding noises as you turn the ignition key. if you’re not sure if your starter is bad do what i did and let it completely die and tap the starter, if your car turns on right after than you know you have a bad starter. if you guys like this video please make sure to give it a thumbs up also dont forget to subscribe for more repair videos like this!

How did you disconnect the terminal with that boot in the way im still trying to get it unbolted

This is pretty much the same procedure, for about a third of all front wheel drive.
your so right changing out he starter aint the easiest if you dont have a lift
Oh man Nissans has a very bad Position of Starters. But now I know the way.
starter job on these is miserable. i took out that stupid Y bracket, its useless. now i can change mine in 5 minutes (takes longer to jack my car up cus its kinda low lol)
Thanks! My '01 has lost 2 starters and I had the garage replace them for me. Pretty expensive going that route. This should help me when number 3 rolls around.

HEADS UP! my car didn't have the Y bracket in order to replace the starter you need to remove it!
