hook it up to.
positive = battery
negetive = ground/chasis
amp remote cable =?

Eli1220usaf says:

Good video just had one question. When using the LOC would you still need
the remote cable? If so where would I get the 12v to turn amp on? Would I
run it from The fuse box using the radio fuse?

BradInTucson says:

How would you solve my problem: I have the LOC connected to the rear
speakers then to the amp from there; but what to do with the remote wire
for the amp? Will I have to pull the factory head unit out and connect it
there or is there another way? 2013 Mazda 2 btw.

Do I have to use both speakers?

Nate Graham says:

I ran the in line converter like you did in the video but I can’t turn the
gain up pass the first notch! My bass boost is all the way down but it’s
still clipping on my kicker 750.1 is it the boost on the converter that
needs to be adjusted?

Hey bro excellent video explanation. One question- could I hook up a stereo
2/4 channel amp and wire up all four speakers still from amp if I’m using
the rear speaker wires to connect to LOC? Thanks in advance

does it matter if youre installing a bass amp or a hi and mid amp?

dancingkiller reyes says:

Okay so i seen this video preety cool , what if I have my RCA jacks and I
cut and strip one of sides and just wire the rca cable I stripped to one of
the speakers to get signal

Danny Solis says:

Where does the remote wire go?

Elio Sw says:

Were do you connect the remote? From the amp?

Don Boles says:

Let’s use a car’s 12v battery to test the speaker polarity.

ehle says:

DUDEEEEE use a 1.5 volt regular aa batter if your gonna do that that is
soooooooo bad for highs especially!!!!! and if you are splicing into
factory output and splicing into RCA and plugging that into your amp the
voltage will be to high that converter that you got actually lowers the
voltage going into the the amp that’s why the they have a “high level
input” built into the amp thats made for the voltage from speaker output of
aftermarket head unit!

David Chavez says:

Nate you don’t need the bypass all you need to do is run the remote blue
wire to the radio fuse box under the steering and is all is needed it. RCA
cables is just for signal to the amp.

russel kanner says:

what was the name of the website you mentioned around 2:35? I’m trying to
find the wiring diagram for a 2004 monte carlo
