Want to add a sporty touch to your vehicle or perhaps add a bit of detail to the to end of the car? You can install a spoiler to the back of your car to achieve this…they can be small or larger. These can be painted to match the vehicle paint or can be left black to add some accent color.
This video shows how to install one on a Q50. The stock shaped spoiler was already paint matched to the vehicle. It was stuck on using double sided adhesive tape.
directions:
-inspect the new spoiler for defects or blemishes. either fix them or have them shipped back and request a replacement part.
-mock up the spoiler on the vehicle and mark its location using tape and a sharpie or similar.
-clean the area to remove all of the dirt and OIL from the surface to ensure a perfect surface for the tape to adhere to.
-start pulling the tape off the exposed end, lay the spoiler place and start pulling the tape cover off for the full length, while all along pressing the spoiler in place.
-if the weather is cold, you will need to warm up the tape and the surface you are attaching to with a heat gun to ensure the tape sticks.
