Biddybalboa says:

electric seats are retarded backwards technology

Dannie Carmona says:

You started the vid really well but never finished. I was very interested
cause my dad’s Licoln towncar did the same thing. Lots of guys can’t speak
and explain the way you do.

Sara Borrett says:

I got this pinche toyota minivan and it looks like there are 2 motors, one
on each side, one is out, but not the other. Can I relplace it without
moving the seat?

mikeyloma says:

If the seat is all the way forward how do you get access to the front
bolts? My seat is covering the front bolts and I cant move it back

Beau Boruff says:

thanks for the positive words, when i get another car in with a broken seat
ill make a better video to explain how to get the rails back on track

Chris Rybicki says:

What happened to the second part!? That’s the part I really needed to see!

mstenn32 says:

I have an Explorer with the exact same issue. I REALLY wanted and needed to
see the second video as well! Bummer…

thunderstorms06 says:

its simple guys remove the motors and turn the cogs manually that motors
were attached to and simply adjust it to were you think its best and set in
in the car hand thread the front bolts in try it,and remove it adjust some
more then try is again till its tolerable, then bolt it down.then find a
pair of used seats and later part them out and fix yours or swap them
outy.in the mercury wagon i had i had to tap a new power wire to them and
they work fine, wire simply lost power some..were..

LaShawnEarly says:

My seat back won’t come up will this same trick work to pull the back up
with out replacing the motor.

michell091585 says:

What happened to the second part where you thread the seat back?

Beau Boruff says:

sadly the second video was lost in a bad memory card… next time a similar
situation comes in ill redo the video

ShortBusRuss says:

Dude.. No offense, but without the second video, the first is not much use
at all.. You might ant to take the first video off until you can complete
it, or link to someone else who has actually posted the complete fix. Not
cool.

Beau Boruff says:

sorry to hear of the problems with the seat, i dont work on many grandams
so its gonna be hard to make a video.. best bet might be to call salvage
yards and get another seat.. shouldnt cost more than $100 for the new seat
and all should be resolved.. good luck call around for the best deal in
your area..

Beau Boruff says:

shortbusruss thanks for watching sorry if i didnt show you what you
needed.. i felt this video still could help people understand how seats
work and what breaks.. by watching the video you should be able to remove
your seat and get access to the electric motor… remove the motor and you
should be able to push the seat back to any position you would like.. at
that point you could reinstall the motor and have a stationary seat. or buy
another motor and have a working electric seat.

Beau Boruff says:

Don’t think YouTube would like that, or anyone else for that matter. I’m a
non tan white guy… lol

David Evans says:

Hey Beau, I really like the detail / enthusiasm of your presentation. I am
anxious to see the second part showing how to manually manipulate the seat
back. My wife has a 2003 Acura TL which has the seat stuck forward. Can you
send me a link to the second video?

RockHeavy2 says:

can you show me how to fix the seat on a grand am(standard seat) I can get
the drivers side handle to let the seat up, I broke it, now I am using a
pair of vice grips. Then to top is all off the passenger seat you have to
stick your finger in the back of the seat to get that one to fall forward.,
Grandkids have gone crazy in my car ! please help.

TheCobra423 says:

Hey Beau, any idea of what’s going on when one screw will come back and
forth and the other one will for a second and then stop twisting the seat?
Both screws can be turned by pliers and nothing in the tracks.

ksps85 says:

Hey do them naked

zendres97 says:
