@Mark2k92 Well right now It looks terrible becauuse I just put the qx1
basecoat which seems to be a better match than the top coat. I kinda wanna
put the badges back on so it’s less noticeable. Now i’m debating whether to
get strafespeed trunk or just take it to the body shop to see if they can
do anything about it. The only thing that worries me is getting the color
to match on the trunk since Ivory Pearl is the hardest color to match. We
infiniti owners appreciate the how-to video, thanks!

Have to disagree with you on this. ANY modification can devalue a vehicle
while very few actually increase the value. It is far more likely that
someone that debadged their vehicle drove it harder than someone who
didn’t. When you see someone trying to sell off a modified vehicle, they
put all the OEM stuff back on and part out the rest. Nobody wants to buy a
car that was driven hard.

Mark says:

@SuperConnn One – Swedish House Mafia its a some remix of it, and its just
instrumentals.

Nathan Tague says:

That really makes the back end of the car look better, I left the infiniti
symbol, I took off the g35 badges. It just looks more clean. It’s not about
who posts negative comments, but how you feel about your own car. Good
video 🙂

SuperConnn says:

This song is sick. Whats the name? By the way, nice car. So clean.

Mark says:

@lXlSh0wst0pp3rlXl If it looks THAT bad then yea maybe put it back on for
now. Ghosting wasn’t a problem for me, but like I said, each car is
different. The strafespeed trunk is beautiful. Its my favorite
trunk/spoiler and I personally think it looks the best out of any spoiler
(OEM or not) or trunk. I would get it but unfortunately don’t have the cash
for it atm. Good luck!

gauny villegas says:

My question is after you debadge my g35 which I only happen to do the g35
logo to experiment, (I got a 03 coupe by the way) The ghost mark is still
there. I tried to clean as much of it as i could but no luck. I then got
some touch up paint and didn’t come out very pretty. I guess you’re only
supposed to debadge if your car isn’t that old where the paint didn’t fade
so bad from uv rays/wear?

Matrixmadman says:

u can just take them off with your fingers.

jtk49 says:

@dboytesoro LMAO lolololol…that comment made my day. thank you.

Mark says:

@lXlSh0wst0pp3rlXl Yes, the older the car, the harder it will be
unfortunately. It also depends on the paint. Dark colored cars have the
worst “ghosts”. As time goes by and as car washes go by, the ghost will
fade by itself naturally anyways (as long as it is ghost you are talking
about, and not the adhesive left over). Also yea, I wouldn’t use touch up
paint on it. Touch up paint is for less visible areas. Either wait it out,
or buy those special ghost products.

Mark says:

@dboytesoro lol, im not sure if thats a serious question. No, to all of
them.

TheClassicGT says:

Why do you want to take it off anyways?

thompsontime says:

Would this work for the bigger badges like the infiniti symbol and the
other letters?

Alyson Sinclair says:

I have a 06 g35, same color as the one in the video

yana ostrovska says:

get auto scratch remover and that should take care of it 🙂

TheJerseytaylor says:

it absolutely alters performance…wtf?! my throttle response is phenomenal

PlugDumps says:

To some people it does devalue it. Normally when people de badge its
because they like it. When they re sell the buy may not like it.

dboytesoro says:

I have a very urgent question:…If you debadge your car, which is what i
want to do, do you have to declare it to your auto insurance company? Do
you have to tell them that you debadged yoru car? Also will it
raise/lower/alter your current insurance rates? Also do auto insurance
companies even care if you debadge your car?..some say it counts as
“modification” but it doesnt alter the performance..its just like getting
windows tinted..what do you think?

Alyson Sinclair says:

Got the badges off but the adhesive just won’t come off.

jtk49 says:

thanks for the tutorial !!! came out perfect!

anthonyWeightgainer says:

Hey Bro nice video! Thanks for this Video. I am going to do this to my G35
soon and i’m gonna replace them with those Nissan badges. hahaha

Mth3sis says:

It doesn’t, just did removed it

Mth3sis says:

Does g37 sedan rear fuji symbol have holes? I did the letters as those came
off easy.

Howard Mora says:

I have a friend that did this with a very expensive BMW…and then tried to
sell it..and the told him that because he took the stuff off the car…the
resale value was way down….sooooo be careful.

Mark says:

@anthonyWeightgainer Skyline all the way

esc says:

You forgot to ask how much horsepower the debadge will add!
