This video goes over how to replace a mass airflow sensor on a 2013 Infiniti G37X Coupe with a 3.7 motor. This should be the same process for any 2009-2013 Infiniti G37X. Most cars have only one mass airflow sensor or map sensor, but because the G37X is a performance vehicle, it has dual air cleaners, dual intakes, dual throttle bodies and of course two mass airflow sensors. A mass airflow sensor (MAF) determines the mass of air entering a vehicle’s fuel injection engine and passes that data to the engine control module (ECM). Without an accurate signal from the MAF sensor, the ECM won’t know how much fuel to give the engine. That can either cause the engine to run rich (too much fuel) or lean (too little fuel). The engine’s computer uses the MAF sensor to determine how much fuel is to be injected to meet the proper air/fuel ratio. It compensates for weather, altitude or your various driving conditions. Signs of a bad MAF would be a check engine light, poor idle, hard starting, misfiring, a change in fuel consumption, or lack of engine performance. A lot of the time if your car is performing poorly or not starting, you can disconnect the mass airflow sensor. The vehicle will then switch to limp mode and then the car may idle or start better, thus proving your theory that the mass airflow sensor isn’t performing to the proper factory specifications.

Hello I have a 2009 FX35 drives normal
However in park the rpm needle goes up and down every 15 seconds or so slightly not by a lot.
And when I rev it in park the rpm dips before coming back to normal.
Any help? Thanks in advance.

Anyone have any tips on just getting the clicks part (the QD clip) to function? Neither my right nor my left one will release…. I DO know how to unscrew both screws – so I'm covered there – but.i feel like the plastic is out of flex and that if I press any harder on either I'll break the clip
