shit about SAE crank vs WHP on their g’s
2003-2006 sedan. 250 auto / 260hp stick at the crank. 205-215 at the
wheels in *perfect circumstances*
2003-2008 Coupe. 250 auto / 260hp stick at the crank. 215-225 at the
wheels in *perfect circumstances*
this is 100% for any vq35de NOT having VVt for the exhaust.
get into the vq35de WITH VVt (post 2007 sedan or 2008 coupe).. and then we
get 260-280 at the crank and 235-250hp at the wheels.
getoverit.. you were lied to by nissan using the pre-ratified SAE 2008
adjustments. the crank power number are of by as much as 30hp… and no
that’s not made up internet facts. pre 2008 SAE allowed math correction to
crank numbers that nissan used to issue the ratings.

back on topic.. 400 at the wheels for g’ without going into the block is
pretty nice bump.
So if its around 400rwhp with a single turbo, what would it put down with a
twin turbo? Thatd be sick.

My stock G doesnt push 250HP, Pushes 306HP.
is this on a stock vq35de? with stock internals? no built bottem end or

I agree 100%, I recently got some work done at Z1 for $1300 that forged
wanted over $3000 for. I wish I had gone to Z1 sooner. Unless you have a
GTR Forged treats you like a nobody regardless of how much money you are
trying to spend.

g has 220-250 horses stock? this guy doesn’t know his specs
A stock 2006 g35 has 298hp, and the auto have less I know I have one!
A stock g does not make 220-250hp, it produces 270-300hp stock, these pro’s
dont even know the cars’ base stats….
turbos use exhaust gases to power their boost. at lower RPMS the car runs
stock at higher RPMS you’ll use more gas.

I got one of the last kits they had and it was $8900 including
installation, but I got a deal since they were closing, I’m pretty sure it
was closer to $10k before. But that included the headers and full exhaust.
