If I bought a new gasket do I still need to use the gasket maker?
That damn thing is stuck even with the screws off.
I heard there was another type of seal inside of it?
Hi, do I need 1/2" or 3/4" torque wrench?
You have some oil weeping above the pan area also. Do you know where that is coming from? Valve cover gasket?
This was the perfect time to install the pan spacer. That’s what I did with mine. Z1 oil pan spacer and you get 1 qt of oil more and no leaks after 50k
24 hours? Really?
I read on the forums to use felpro gasket AND sealant but I chose to listen to your comments and just do the sealant
Would it be recommended to also get a metal oil pan gasket and also apply this permatex sealant? Or is the sealant enough to prevent oil leakage
Hey I got the same car I have a leak coming from idk where and I wanted to see if you had any ideas also I know this is an old video but hope I can get a reply
You're awesome, I really hope you know that. Thank you! x100
Fixed mine twice and it steal keeps leaking smh
I have to replace the same oil pan for our 2 Murano, mine is bad as the pan has rusted ., Thanks for the video.
Loved it thanks! Would you say the trickiest part is to get the pan back on?
Awesome vid really helped me out
8:46 thats what she said
I remember when I was a kid my neighbor fixed his oil pan leak with a cereal box.. Dude spent 3 hours cutting out a perfect gasket..I’m not sure how long it lasted but I remember thinking he’s crazy goin through all that work to fix it with a cereal box
This isn't the "upper" oil pan right? Mine was leaking back in the day. My old 03 G35 coupe. Got a real sedan now
why not the optimum stuff, they are newer than the ultra product line. Thanks Danny.
